The housing market in Marne-la-Vallée


Marne-la-Vallée remains one of the most dynamic and attractive areas in Ile-de-France in terms of housing.

Economic report from April to June, 2011

Out of the total sales made, the highest-selling typologies were 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom units.

Regarding available housing, collective housing mostly has 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom flats, while individual housing favours 5- or more bedroom units.

This trend is particularly true in the Val de Bussy sector, which claims 65% and 59% of the sales in Marne-la-Vallée.

Val d’Europe remains focused on the family market, with a high share of the 4- and 5-bedroom units.

One observes an increase in the sales of collective housing units, at close to 4 out of 5 sales completed. In the begining of 2011, the breakdown between collective and individual housing was 78% and 22% respectively in Marne-la-Vallée.
